Configure categories (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner) with delivery start/end times and cutoff minutes.

Meal Categories & Cutoff Rules

Manage meal categories at /console/menu/categories.

Category Form Fields

  • Category Name (name): e.g., Lunch or Dinner.
  • Description (description): Optional notes.
  • Delivery Start Time (delivery_start_time): Time delivery starts (e.g., 12:00).
  • Delivery End Time (delivery_end_time): Time delivery ends (e.g., 14:00).
  • Order Cutoff Minutes (cutoff_minutes): Minutes before delivery start when orders lock (e.g., 30 or 60 minutes).
  • Status: Active or Inactive.

When the cutoff time (delivery_start_time - cutoff_minutes) is reached, order generation triggers and customer changes lock.
